UWC and Prytula Foundation Announce Conclusion of One United Fundraiser 2026 North American Tour, Raising Over 102.5 Million UAH to Protect Ukrainian Civilians
The Ukrainian World Congress and the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the One United Fundraiser (Єдинозбір) 2026 North American Tour, which raised a total of 102,523,309.55 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) to support Ukraine’s frontline defenders and protect civilians and critical infrastructure from ongoing Shahed drone attacks.
Organized by the UWC in partnership with the Prytula Foundation and Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade, the eight city tour brought frontline military leadership and civil society representatives into direct dialogue with Ukrainian diaspora communities across Canada and the United States.
Presented by Meest and held in partnership with Saint Javelin and Kazka Entertainment, the tour formed part of the broader One United Fundraiser campaign, a global effort to raise 1 billion UAH to finance smart drone interceptor systems and other critical defensive equipment capable of neutralizing Iranian designed Shahed drones used against Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Myhal Family Foundation for its $500,000 CAD matching donation to the One United Fundraiser tour, which doubled the impact of contributions in support of protecting Ukraine’s civilians, cities, and energy infrastructure from Shahed drone attacks. We are deeply grateful to George Myhal, Rayla Myhal, and the entire Myhal Family for their generosity and steadfast commitment to Ukraine and its people.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the tour sponsors Meest Canada, Meest USA, Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd, ICS Facility Services, The Heritage Foundation of First Security Federal Savings Bank, Rodan Energy Solutions, Blue Tactical LLC, BCU Financial Group, and Selfreliance Federal Credit Union for their generous support in helping bring frontline voices directly to communities across North America.
We are also deeply grateful to our local partners in each host city whose logistical support and outreach were essential to the success of every event, including UCC National, UCC Toronto, UCC Ontario, Ukrainians In Toronto, Second Front, Fat Sound, Canadian Association of Crimean Tatars, UCC Manitoba, Borsch Cultural Club, Iron Hearts For Ukraine, Ukrainian Canadian Institute Prosvita, Ukrainian Youth Unity Complex, UCC Alberta, UCC Edmonton, Ukrainian Youth Association - CYM Edmonton, League of Ukrainian Canadians, League of Ukrainian Canadian Women, St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor, UCC Alberta, UCC Calgary, UCC Bow Valley, Ukrainians in Calgary, Events in Calgary, UCAN Radio, Liberty Ukraine Foundation, Ukrainian National Home New York, Regeneration Church, Saint Gabriel Institute, and Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Illinois Division.
“This tour showed that when our global Ukrainian community stands united with our partners and allies, we can turn solidarity into life-saving action. Every dollar raised through the One United Fundraiser helps stop the drones that target our homes, our hospitals, and our energy infrastructure. We are deeply grateful to every community that came together to support this mission. But our work does not stop here. We will continue to mobilize support and stand with Ukraine until the Russian terrorist state is defeated. Your commitment is not only protecting lives today, it is strengthening Ukraine’s independence for generations to come.”
Paul Grod, President, Ukrainian World Congress
From Toronto and Kitchener to Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, New York, Fairless Hills, Washington, DC, and Chicago, thousands attended fireside style events featuring technical briefings, moderated discussions, and audience Q and A sessions. Attendees gained direct insight into modern drone warfare and the technologies used to intercept aerial threats.
Funds raised will be directed toward smart interceptor technologies and specialized training designed to detect and destroy incoming drones before they reach residential neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, or power substations, helping preserve lives and protect Ukraine’s energy grid.
As the broader One United Fundraiser campaign continues toward its 1 billion UAH target, we remain encouraged by the unity demonstrated across North America and grateful to all who contributed to safeguarding Ukraine’s civilians.
