Ukrainian World Congress Announces ROBOBRO Canada Tour with Taras Chmut and Ihor Pustovyi

Public events in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto will highlight Ukraine's battlefield innovations and raise funds for lifesaving robotic medical evacuation systems.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), through its Unite with Ukraine initiative, together with the Come Back Alive Foundation (Повернись Живим), Saint Javelin, and the NOVA UGV unit of Ukraine's 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, announces the ROBOBRO Canada Tour, taking place November 10–19, 2026.

The tour will bring two prominent voices from Ukraine's defense efforts to Canadian audiences: Taras Chmut, Head of the Come Back Alive Foundation, and Ihor Pustovyi, a Ukrainian service member of the NOVA UGV unit of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

The speakers will share firsthand perspectives on Ukraine's defense, the technologies transforming modern warfare, and the urgent need to protect Ukrainian combat medics.

Three Cities. Three Events. One Mission.

The Ukrainian World Congress invites Ukrainian Canadians and all friends of Ukraine to attend the following public events:

  • Ottawa: November 10, 6:30 PM — Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Byron Avenue, Ottawa.

Protect the Medics. Reach the Wounded. Bring Them Home.

Every day, Ukrainian combat medics risk their lives evacuating wounded soldiers from areas exposed to enemy drones, artillery, and constant surveillance. Rescuing one wounded defender can mean putting several more lives in danger.

The ROBOBRO campaign aims to raise funds to procure capsule-equipped unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) capable of reaching wounded soldiers and transporting them toward medical care while reducing the risk to rescue teams.

For Ukrainian medics, these robotic systems are more than machines. They become another побратим, a brother in arms made of steel, capable of taking on dangerous evacuation missions so that others have a better chance of coming home alive.

Connecting Ukraine's Defenders with Canadian Communities

Beyond the public events, the delegation will participate in institutional meetings, advocacy engagements, and discussions with Canadian defense and technology stakeholders in Ottawa, Kingston, and Toronto.

The tour is supported by Ukrainian Canadian community organizations, including the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and its local and provincial branches, UA Canada, the Ukrainian National Federation, Ukrainians in Toronto, the Canadian Association of Crimean Tatars, and other community partners.

Join Us and Help Save Lives

The Ukrainian World Congress and its partners invite everyone who stands with Ukraine to attend an event, support the fundraiser, and share the campaign with their communities.

Every contribution brings Ukraine closer to providing its combat medics with the technology needed to rescue wounded defenders while protecting the lives of those who save them.
