✅ 100 TacMed Solutions Helios ultra-compact hypothermia prevention systems delivered to the combat medics of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade currently operating in the Donetsk region in Eastern Ukraine.
Hypothermia prevention and management is a key component in the fight to prevent the onset of the lethal triad of acidosis, hypothermia, and coagulopathy. Failure to manage this condition early in the treatment process can reduce patient survivability and further complicate the treatment process.
The Helios System was developed to provide the care provider with an ultra-compact, lightweight, modular system that allows varying levels of heat retention while still allowing patient accessibility and provides up to 12 hours of active warming activity.
As part of its #unitewithukraine initiative, the Ukrainian World Congress - Свiтовий Конґрес Українців, thanks to our partners Saint Javelin was able to procure more than 1500 such systems that are currently being delivered to frontline medics in the most active areas of Eastern Ukraine.
The world needs to do more to step up and defend Ukraine's democratic right to determine its own future.
