117 million for Ukraine's armed forces: UWC leadership meets with General Tantsyura.

Ukrainian World Congress President Paul Grod and Director of the “Unite with Ukraine” initiative Andrew Potichnyj met with the Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Tantsyura.

The UWC delegation announced another significant assistance package, this time in the amount of 117 million hryvnias (over $3 million) for the needs of the TDF. The package includes tracked armored personnel carriers (APC’s) for evacuation and safe transport in combat zones, FPV drones, the latest “Strata 22” weapons training simulators, and the continuation of the already implemented UWC repair and restoration program of GAZ-66 all-wheel drive military trucks. "Today, the UWC, as part of our “Unite with Ukraine” initiative, has the great honor to announce the provision of another package of military aid to further strengthen the battlefield capabilities of the Territorial Defense Forces in the amount of 117 million UAH," noted Paul Grod.

"Ukrainians around the world stand shoulder to shoulder with the defenders of Ukraine not only with words, but with concrete actions. Our cooperation with Major General Ihor Tansyura and his team is one of the most important areas of activity of the UWC and remains a top priority. Funds collected from more than 65 countries clearly indicate that the diaspora does not succumb to Russian propaganda and is ready to continue supporting the defenders of Ukraine," continued the UWC President. "The Ukrainian World Congress has been a reliable and stable partner of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Their extraordinary support and cooperation was and remains an essential component of the success of our forces on the battlefield," stated Major General Ihor Tantsyura. "This aid package is another example of the high level of our joint efforts with the UWC," added the Commander.

"Now is not the time to take our foot off the gas pedal. Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly the Territorial Defense Forces, remains the primary focus of the UWC. Complete and unequivocal victory, and the restoration of Ukraine's borders as defined in 1991, should be the top priority for all Ukrainians no matter where they reside. Everyone must work towards this common goal and contribute to the cause, as Ukraine will only realize true freedom after the complete demilitarization of the Russian Federation," stated the Director of the “Unite with Ukraine” initiative, Andrew Potichnyj.

"To achieve this goal, we must invest maximum resources in the Armed Forces and other security structures, as there simply are no alternatives. On our end, the Ukrainian World Congress is doing everything possible to support those brave women and men who are valiantly fighting on the front lines of the war between good and evil," added Potichnyj. "The assistance provided by you to the units of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is invaluable in our efforts to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The quality military equipment provided by the Ukrainian World Congress, worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias, is evidence of our organizations' true partnership and cooperation. The Armed Forces of Ukraine appreciate the partnership of the global Ukrainian diaspora, especially at a time when it is most needed to defend our country," stated Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi in a letter to the World Congress.

"We assure you that the global Ukrainian community unwaveringly supports our brave warriors and is making efforts at the international level to ensure the recognition of the Russian Federation as the aggressor. The coordinated actions of all Ukrainians, without exception, wherever we are physically located, will help to finally defeat the invader and defend every inch of our ancestral land," concluded Potichnyj. The meeting took place during the visit of the UWC delegation to Ukraine. UWC leaders also met with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Chief, General Kyrylo Budanov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, and others.

The Ukrainian World Congress unites the 20-million-strong Ukrainian diaspora in more than 60 countries into one powerful voice. The #UniteWithUkraine platform is a global charitable initiative of the Ukrainian World Congress to raise funds to purchase and deliver essential tactical medicine equipment, vehicles, and essential supplies to support Ukraine's defenders. Since March 2022, #UniteWithUkraine has raised over $50 million to support the Territorial Defense Forces and other security structures of Ukraine.
