One such individual is known as Callsign "Maksyuta," who serves as a committed mortar operator in the 206th Battalion of the TDF. With unyielding resolve, Maksyuta shares his perspective.
I am here because it is necessary, and I have no alternative. I have given myself the moral authority to join the battle, and I will not abandon this cause. I am committed to fighting for as long as I am alive.
