On January 20, 2024, the Ukrainian People's House in Przemyśl Narodnyj Dim - Dom Ukraiński hosted their second charity auction and new years Malanka organized by the Przemyśl branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland Związek Ukraińców w Polsce Об'єднання Українців у Польщі .
During the celebrations, just like last year, $10,000.00 USD was collected and donated to the Ukrainian World Congress - Свiтовий Конґрес Українців Unite With Ukraine initiative to be used for the procurement of critically important tactical medical equipment for combat paramedics on the frontlines of Russia’s war with Ukraine. Thanks to all participants for the generosity that will help bring victory closer.
An incredible example of what diaspora communities can achieve when working together for the greater good. Another community organization that is providing tangible support to Ukraine’s Armed Forces, strengthening their battlefield capabilities with actions, not just words.
The world needs to do more to step up and defend Ukraine's democratic right to determine its own future.
