Ukrainian World Congress VP of Operations Zenon Potoczny visited a facility where GAZ-66 military trucks are repaired and restored for the use of Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a recent visit to Kyiv.
As part of its Unite with Ukraine initiative, UWC is proud to take part in this joint project with TDF Command. Zenon saw firsthand the results of this important work which allows mobility and hauling power for territorial defenders in the most contested conflict zones.
Pictured is the first tranche of 10 trucks of many that will be repaired and put back onto the road as part of this vital initiative.
The repairs are carried out by three shifts of thirty experienced mechanics that work around the clock and are skilled in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and structural issues.
Thus far, the Unite with Ukraine initiative has helped with repairing 30 trucks. Pictured is the first party of many that will be overhauled and put back onto the road as part of this vital initiative. UWC has committed to restore 100 such pieces of equipment. These repairs have helped to ensure that the forces are able to carry out their missions effectively, transport personnel and equipment safely and efficiently, and maintain their readiness to respond to any threats to Ukraine’s security. Logistics wins wars.
The world needs to do more to step up and defend Ukraine's democratic right to determine its own future.
