On May 18, International Vyshyvanka Day, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is launching a campaign supporting Ukraine’s brave defenders through the UniteWithUkraine initiative.
The vyshyvanka is our ancient armor and spiritual talisman. Many of Ukraine’s sons and daughters were forced to exchange their embroidered shirts for the Armed Forces uniforms as the fight against those who want to destroy everything Ukrainian continues. Wearing your vyshyvankas on this day, you remember those who made our culture, language, and Ukraine’s existence possible.
With the major counteroffensive imminent, the military needs your help. On this Vyshyvanka Day, we urge you to join the #UniteWithUkraine initiative and donate to Ukraine’s defenders’ needs.

Through its #UniteWithUkraine initiative, the Ukrainian World Congress has provided over $40 million in assistance to the Territorial Defense Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other security structures. Donors from over 70 countries joined in for the initiative.
The world needs to do more to step up and defend Ukraine's democratic right to determine its own future.
